This place is the first place that I ever left and I had the feeling that I had to tell other people how great it was. I have never written a review about anyplace before. The staff here is super informative and helpful. They took the time to actually teach me and give me tips on the gear. They got the lowest prices for rentals around I know that for a fact because I called around and the other shops prices were higher. Also for you in the Military this place offers a 20% DISCOUNT!!!! The store is clean and organized and the prices are reasonable. The owner is a great dude and you have a sense that he is not out to make a lot of money but just to make a living and help people out. If your ever in Mad River Valley to go Skiing and snowboarding go down to Infinite Sports on Main street in Waitsfield VT.
This was my mom's store. She would make friends with just about every customer. She would enter the light festival thingy every year, whether the store still does that, I have no idea. It's a great store.
We went in to have our vintage 10 speeds checked out and the guy that worked on the bikes was extremely helpful. He made a few minor tweeks to our clunkers and we were on our way with minimal impact to our wallets. This place is great I will be back.
Seems like a nice, well equipped store, but the rental staff were a bit too cool to pay much attention to sizing my daughters boots. The top buckle was so loose that it would not stay closed when she was skiing. Their response was, "Whoa, too bad dude. She said they fit."
Very helpful, personable staff, good advice regarding my daughter's rented boots. If I'm in the area, I will return.
